As a Scrum Master, you will manage multiple projects across several small development teams. You will act as a facilitator between your team, and the stakeholders involved in designing and supporting your projects.

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master with a passion for technology, to join our team.

Our Way of Working (WoW) software development methodology is scrum-based with a lean flavour. We use build-measure learn cycles and encourage our team to approach their work with an entrepreneurial attitude.

Role responsibilities

  • Estimations, resource planning and development of roadmaps and milestones;
  • Organize & facilitate agile ceremonies including elaboration and planning sessions, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews;
  • Maintain Jira boards and backlogs for multiple projects;
  • Monitor & report on all projects as required;
  • Facilitate deployment release plans and processes; 
  • Identify improvement opportunities to our Way of Working;
  • Ensure project artefacts & governance activities are completed as necessary; and
  • Manage client expectations.

An ideal candidate will...

  • Have a background in software development, software design, business analysis or similar;
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar roles;  
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, requirements analysis, and user story development;
  • Experience in applying project methodology and supporting the client and the team/s in identifying and managing risks and issues;
  • Human-centered leadership skills, strong communication and high emotional intelligence.
