How It Works

1

Build reusable bots

No hidden costs and no limits on experimentation. Create internal tools, automation bots, or prototypes that encode standards, workflows, and domain know-how teams can reuse.

2

Publish your bot and its knowledge

When you're ready to share or sell your bot, join the Partner Programme. You set your price, and CodeBots distributes the bot through the marketplace as reusable, governed delivery capability.

3

Scale trust, reuse, and revenue

Grow your user base, increase adoption, and unlock higher revenue share tiers as your bots prove themselves in market and become trusted delivery assets for more teams.

Partner FAQ

What is the difference between the Free tier and a monetised partner tier?

The Free tier is for building and using bots without monetising them through the marketplace. Monetised partner tiers apply when you want to publish paid bots and earn revenue through CodeBots.

When do I need to join the Partner Programme?

You join the Partner Programme when you want to publish or sell a paid bot to other organisations. Building, exploring, and using bots yourself remains available before that step.

How does CodeBots revenue sharing work?

Revenue share is based on your current partner tier. Creators keep 70%, Growth keeps 80%, and Platinum keeps 90%, with CodeBots retaining the remaining share for distribution through the platform.

Who sets the price of a paid bot?

The partner sets the commercial price of the bot. CodeBots distributes the bot through the platform and applies the revenue-share percentage for the partner tier in force when the revenue is earned.

What is the difference between Creators, Growth, and Platinum?

The tiers mainly change revenue share, support, and go-to-market benefits. Higher tiers increase the partner share and unlock stronger support, co-marketing, and earlier access to new features and roadmap collaboration.

How do partners move between tiers?

Tier movement is based on the partner programme and commercial review rather than a public self-serve threshold. As adoption and revenue contribution grow, a partner can move to a higher tier with a larger share.

What support and co-marketing benefits are included?

Creators include partner directory listing and basic marketing support. Growth adds priority support, broader marketing support, co-marketing opportunities, and early feature access. Platinum adds dedicated account management, premium support, joint go-to-market work, and earlier roadmap visibility.

Do customers need a paid CodeBots subscription to buy a marketplace bot?

No. Customers can buy a marketplace bot without first moving onto a paid CodeBots partner tier themselves. Bot pricing and partner monetisation sit alongside the broader platform pricing model.

What responsibilities stay with the partner after publishing a bot?

Partners remain responsible for bot content, functionality, support, pricing disclosures, usage limits, and compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.

Who handles support for a published bot?

Partners are expected to provide reasonable first-line support for their bots and to cooperate with CodeBots if an issue needs escalation.

Can partners customise bots for specific organisations?

Yes. Premium bots can be customised for an organisation through collaboration with the partner, while hosting and monitoring are delivered through the CodeBots platform.

Can CodeBots remove a bot from the marketplace?

Yes. CodeBots may suspend or remove a bot, or suspend or terminate a partner's participation, if the partner breaches the licence, breaches applicable law, or creates risk for platform security, stability, or reputation.

How are earnings and payouts handled?

CodeBots reports partner earnings and makes payments according to the partner programme documentation, subject to any applicable minimum payout thresholds.

How is net revenue calculated before revenue share is paid?

Net revenue means the amounts actually received by CodeBots for bot sales or subscriptions after taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment processing fees are deducted.

Where can I read the Partner Software Licence?

If you plan to publish or monetise paid bots, read the Partner Software Licence. It sets out the revenue-share rules, distribution rights, partner obligations, and suspension terms.
