Summary
Look for patterns in the research and interviews to give more insight into the project

Description
After your first few rounds of research and interviews you should take a moment to look for patterns in the data. Now is the time to structure your knowledge and use the patterns to find the key theme. This will let you communicate your data clearly with other stakeholders.
This is a bottom-up method and relies on the collected data to be useful so don’t start too early in the process.

Steps
1
Print out the template and gather everyone who participated in the research and interview stage.
2
Grab snippets and interesting facts from each topic, put them on the board and start to look for anything that kept coming up.
3
Start filling in the rest of the template
4
Add a theme to the group of patterns
